STORAGE

Services provided

We offer specially designed vehicles to deliver your goods into storage using a containerised system. Our system ensures that:

  • your goods are only handled twice, rather than the standard four times, therefore reducing removal costs

  • you are allocated your own personal containers, eliminating the risk of property being lost or separated.

The Warehouse

We do not sublet your storage to another company as the warehouse is solely owned by Trux Removals and was purpose built by us in 2008. The warehouse has 24hr CCTV and is fully alarmed and conforms to British and European standards under the Security Systems & Alarms Inspection Board.

Prohibited Items

In the interest of safety and well-being of all our customers and their belongings, some items must not be put into storage. These included perishables, such as food, inflammable items like gas bottles or petrol cans etc. Please feel free to ask if you are not sure about anything.

Insurance

Full insurance cover is included in all our storage quotes. If you need more details on our insurance, please do not hesitate to ask for a copy of our terms and conditions. A copy of the insurance certificate is kept at our office for your inspection.

Personal Belongings and Documents

Please ensure that any personal effects i.e. keys, passports, watches or documents are not put into storage by mistake and are retained by yourself prior and during the storage being containerised as this will prevent any unnecessary opening of containers.

Helpful Tips

  • Determine the packing accessories you require, i.e. packing paper, bubble wrap, tape, cardboard boxes and wardrobe boxes etc.
  • Items like books or tools should be placed in small boxes so they are easy to lift.
  • Protect your fragile goods with packing paper or bubble wrap etc.
  • Don't place liquids into storage (unless in a solid casing).
  • Ensure all waters are drained for your electrical appliances, as these may leak and soil or stain your other items placed in the container.
